'Golden Hill' is a name we took from the Indian heritage of my husband. His family is descended from the 'Golden Hill Indians of the Paugussett Indian Nation' of the Bridgeport area of Connecticut.

I am a Data Base Administrator for the world-renowned Lahey Clinic in Burlington MA. I have been here for 25+ years & may just retire from here too !!! The perks are too good to give up !!
I got my first afghan hound in 1990 from Susan & Butch Smith of Fryeburg, ME. Their kennel name was 'Edenwood'. Max, aka Edenwood Ima Charmer, was 5 months old when I brought him home !! My life hasn't been the same since !
I joined the Nutmeg Afghan Hound Club in 1998 & am the current President. I am a founding member of the Gazehounds Of New England lure coursing club & am the outgoing President.
A Bit About Colton !
I met Amy in 1988 & it was an instant attraction. We were married in February of 1992 & I haven't looked back. I am a Quality Control Inspector for STD MED in Stoughton, MA. They make Medical Implatn devices.
I too have fallen in love with the afghan hound as Max was acquired by Amy while we were dating.
