Max was our first afghan.  I got him in May 1990 & my life has never been the same !!  He was almost 5 months old when I got him - a very quiet bundle who slept the whole 3 hour ride back from Maine to Boston- not a peep he made.  He just wanted to be with his mom & dad where ever they were & also to enjoy any visitors that might come by.  Max left us very unexpectedly on Oct 18, 2000, just a short 10 months after we moved into our first house that had a big yard for him to enjoy.  We miss you Max !
